Just bought one of these for my wife’s P238 about 2 months ago as a 2nd holster. She has a righty for about 3 years that she has really liked, and it held onto her pistol really well.
The 2nd we bought was a lefty for center of the back. The 2 holsters are very different:
The older one has the woven edging all around it, and the shape of the elastic where it is sewn is much more formed to the weapon. It holds even when you turn the holster upside down.
The newer one has no edging, and the contours where the elastic is sewn do not follow the weapon very well. They are much more boxy, so when you turn the holster upside down the weapon falls right out.
I am disappointed with the changes in the construction of the newer holsters.
4 stars is based on both of them; the older model is a 5, while the newer one is 2 1/2.
